About Us

Founded in 2015, Diverse Family Solutions, Inc. is a dedicated Waiver Support Coordination agency committed to empowering individuals with disabilities and their families. Our mission is to help them lead meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives.With over 25 years of combined experience in education, social work, and mental health counseling, our leadership team brings a wealth of understanding, compassion, and expertise to every family we serve. We firmly believe that every individual deserves to be recognized, valued, and treated with dignity.At Diverse Family Solutions, we go beyond simply coordinating services; we build lasting relationships with those we serve. Our team combines professional knowledge with genuine care to guide families through the waiver process, connect them with essential community resources, and advocate for their unique needs and aspirations.

Our Population

Diverse Family Solutions, is contracted with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) to coordinate the support and services for individuals on the iBudget/iConnect Waiver Program. We serve Floridians with the following disabilities: Severe autism, Cerebral palsy, Spina bifida, Intellectual disabilities IQ below 70, Children age 3-5 who are at a high risk of a developmental disability,  Down syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome and Phelan-McDermid syndrome  

Regions Served

Southeast Region -Broward, Palm Beach, Martin Okeechobee, Indian River and St. Lucie Counties 


Central Region - Brevard, Citrus, Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole and Sumter

We're always looking for qualified individuals interested in joining our team

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  •  Two years of paid, supervised experience in developmental disabilities, special education, mental health, counseling, guidance, social work, or health and rehabilitative services. A master’s degree in a related field can substitute for one year of the required experience
  • Proficient in the use of technology
